Annie Mae Frazier “Rockin Annie” was born February 25, 1925 in Yorktown, Arkansas to Tommy Cheatom and Lizzie Cobb. She transitioned from this life on October 22, 2014. She was proceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Annie Mae accepted Christ an early age. She joined St. Mark United Methodist Church. There, she served as a Church Mother. She received her education in Lincoln County Public School System. She worked tirelessly as an employee …at Holiday Inn, from which she retired after nearly 30 years. She employed many family members and friends. She also owned her own business. She is also preceded in death by her children: Alice Cuba, Essie White and Boyd Lee Frazier.
Mrs. Annie Mae was united in Holy Matrimony with Marshall Frazier Sr. and from that union 13 children were born: Herman (Eula) Frazier, Ulysses (Minnie) Frazier, Marshall (Marsha) Frazier Jr, Larry (Patricia) Frazier, Donald (Zena) Frazier, William Frazier, Dewayne (Freddie) Frazier all from Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Thurman Frazier of Chicago, Illinois, Clorsteen (Cleophus) Webster of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Maxine Lyons of Venice, Illinois. Sister – Christine Hinton Son-in-laws: James Cuba and Calvin White Sr. Daughter-in-law: Dassie Frazier. She also had an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great– great– great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special sister-in-law: Ruth (Boochie) Taylor of Chicago, Illinois. Dear Uncle: Mack (Elizabeth) McCoy. Special Granddaughter: Shirley Urquhart and a very dear “God-sent” sister: Mary White.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens by Christian Way Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2014 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home.
The family will be at 1114 Gross Street Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
