MONTICELLO — A re-enactment of “Let Freedom Ring,” a one-man play about the life of Martin Luther King Jr., will highlight the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s observance of Black History Month.
Greenfair Moses III, who travels the country performing as “Brother Moses,” a nationally-known portrayer of King, will appear at UAM at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Capitol Room of the John F. Gibson University Center.
Moses will present Robert Clymire’s award winning one-man play about the life of King, including character portrayals, songs and excerpts from King’s sermons and speeches.
UAM will also host a gospel music night as part of Black History Month on at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fine Arts Center.
