The Kingsland-based band, weRcalled, has recorded a new worship song, “My Praise.”
This first release of 2024 will be available on all streaming outlets Feb. 23. The “My Praise” lyric video is also available now on YouTube, according to a news release.
“My Praise” is a collaboration between band member and producer DJ Lisemby and Dove Award-nominated songwriter John Mathis Jr.
The band works with Avid Group Publishing, a music publishing company and independent record label owned by Mathis. The new song was made available to Christian radio in early February.
The group is composed of Darry Lisemby (drummer), DJ Lisemby (vocalist, guitarist), Gracie McGinley (bassist), Eli McGinley (keyboardist) and Jonathon Lisemby (guitarist).

The band spent last year touring the country full-time, including appearing at the Louisiana Baptist Youth Explosion Conference, headlining conferences, and a stop in Nashville to appear on CCM Cafe. Their previous releases have populated popular playlists such as the GMA New Music Friday and Pandora’s New Christian Music, according to the news release.
Named from the scripture, Romans 1:6, weRcalled is a family worship band with a full-time national touring schedule appearing at concert events and conferences.
They have shared stages with artists like for King & Country, Cain, Newsong, Audio Adrenaline, Austin French, Jason Gray, and Chris August. The band toured with JJ Weeks and Justin Warren for the My Porch Tour and the Night of Joy Tour with Christian Comedian Bob Smiley.
Their first album release, “Leave The Way You Came,” introduced songs like the title cut and “God Alone,” featured on KLove. “Leave The Way You Came” and “Let It Be” charted in the Top 30 on Christian Music charts with “Like Heaven Should” being added to the Dish Network.
Other releases, such as “So I’ll Come” (single and music video releases), were added to the Dish Network rotation on KTV Network. Their releases of “Who The Cross Is For” and “Testify” were featured on the Gospel Music Association’s Spotify playlist, GMA New Music Friday, and Pandora’s New Christian Music Now playlist.
