MONTICELLO — Sara Frances McMahon Marter, age 61, of Monticello died Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was born March 11, 1951. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Gavin of Monticello, Krista Newkirk of Hot Springs; one son, Charles Marter, Jr. of Monticello; one sister, Diana Shoptaw of Magnet Cove; one brother, Van McMahon, Jr. of Monticello; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
