MONTICELLO — Edwin Roberts Pomeroy, 80, of Monticello, died Saturday, April 7, 2012.
Survivors include one daughter, Leslie Pomeroy New and one son, Michael Logan Pomeroy both of Clarksville, Tenn.; two sisters, Barbara P. Scidmore of Madison, Wis. and Shirley P. Herndon of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Leslie Klett Pomeroy, Jr. of Suffolk, Va., and five grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating the lives of both Ed and his late wife Barbara will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Monticello, preceded by a dinner at noon and visitation at 1 p.m. A private burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery.
