The Epsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. is conducting a Safe to Sleep Workshop about sudden infant death syndrome from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Barraque Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1800 W. Pullen St.
The presenters will be Patricia Johnson, assistant director of Volunteers in Public Schools; and Mattie Glover, immediate past Arkansas state director of Zeta Phi Beta and retired educator.
This workshop is open to teenagers, teen expectant mothers, persons who are expecting to have children in the future, grandmothers who are caregivers of children and childcare providers.
There will be door prizes for mothers and expectant mothers and other giveaways.
