Paul Dempsey Weeks, 89 of Palmyra, died peacefully in his sleep at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City on October 19, 2016. He was born July 31, 1927 in Warren, Ark. to the late William Wesley and Brenna Elizabeth Bryant Weeks.
He attended First Assembly of God Church in Star City. He retired from Central Moloney, Inc. He enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and reading his bible. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great grandbabies.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters.
He is survived by four daughters, Theressa Weeks (Larry) of White Hall, Debbie Sellers and husband Wayne of Sanford, N.C., Paula Weast and husband Mike and Stacy Bates and husband Ronnie, both of Star City. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 2:30PM Sunday at Rowell Cemetery with Bro. Mike Howell and Mike Weast officiating. Visitation is 6-8PM Saturday at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. The family will be at the home of Paula Weast at 1101 E. Bradley, Star City, Ark. 71667. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Arkansas, 210 N Walton Ave, #25, Bentonville, AR 72712.
