Jean Taylor of Hensley, Ark. went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 19. 2016 surrounded by her family. Jean was born on October 17, 1937 in Little Rock, Ark. to the late James Walthall and Myrna Mason Metrailer. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, brother James Bennett Walthall, brother William (Bill) Walthall and her eldest son James David Jackson. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Dixon of Amelia Island, Fla., son Rick Jackson and wife Donna of Jonesboro, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many family and friends. Jean spent her career life at First Arkansas Insurance in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she retired after 34 years. Jean loved reading, working in her yard, traveling, going on cruises and showing off pictures of her family. A graveside service will take place October 21, 2016 at 11 am at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock with a remembrance reception to follow at her home in Hensley.
