Funeral services for Melvin Earl (Batman) Sims, Sr., 49, of Pine Bluff passed July 29, 2015 at BHMC. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Family Time Church, 501 Ohio Street with Rev. Michael Williams, Pastor.
He was born March 8, 1966 in Pine Bluff son of the late James Sims and Georgia Mae Sims.
He was preceded in death by one sister, four brothers, and one niece.
He leaves to cherish his memories three children, Keisha Oliver, Melvin Sims, Jr., and Rochelle Sims all of Pine Bluff; five sister, Rev. and Mrs. Johnnie Mae Henderson, Morricean Sims, Perry Spicer (Johnnie) all of Flint, Mich.; Quincey Clay, Brenda Sims both of Pine Bluff; one brother, Harvey Sims, Sr. (Brenda) of Pine Bluff; three grand-daughters, a host of nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Sharon Pearson.
Visitations may be made Friday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be in P.K. Miller Cemetery. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
