A 21-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting on South Fir Street in Pine Bluff that left another man injured, according to police.
Police were dispatched to the location at about 9:51 p.m. and found a man bleeding from his right bicep, according to a news release. The injured man approached police with his hands up and said he had been shot by another man with a rifle after a brief confrontation outside of his girlfriend’s house.
After further investigation, according to the release, police arrived at a fast-food restaurant on North Blake Street and found Kortezz Strickland inside a restroom. Strickland was arrested without incident, police say.
Strickland is accused of first-degree battery and committing a terroristic act.
