Sherrill – Funeral services for Leola Richardson 70, of Sherrill, Ark., passed April 6, at her home will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m., Salem MBC, Sherrill, Ark., Rev. Clark E. Thomas pastor.
She was born September 29, 1944 in Pastoria Ark., to the late Joe Richardson, Sr., and Willie Mae Richardson. She graduated from Martin High School. She confessed a hope in Christ at the age of twelve. She served in many Capacities, trustee chairman of Kitchen Committer, Ushers, Sunday School teacher, transportation driver, and anything else that was asked of her. She loved peoples she had a smile and kind words for everybody.
She is survived by two daughters, Shartora Leach, Courtney Phillips, a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and friends. She also leaves to cherish her memories of the Ushers, and other members of New Salem MBC. She preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joe Richardson, sister, Willie M. Richardson, Leola Richardson, Lucille “Doll” Brewer. Visitations may be held Friday 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Sherrill, Ark. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
