James Shonell ” R ed ” ” Nell ” Ransom, Sr. was born January 6, 1984 to the late Luvenia Allen Williams and James ” The Bull” Ransom.
James was a very fun, loving and outgoing person. He always had a laugh or a joke for you. He passed away on December 6, 1984 at home. He was preceded in death by: mother, Luvenia Allen- Williams, Father, James Ransom; brothers, Ray Tyler, Sr. Michael Tyler LaRhon Williams, Lacy Williams, and Grandparents Pernia and Horace Allen and his favorite dog(Rottweiler) Zena.
He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, Tim Ransom and T.J. Ransom of San Antonio, TX, James Ransom, Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas ; Brothers, Larry ( Lisa ) Tyler, Sr.
of Lithonia, GA, Alvin Tyler of West Memphis, Arkansas, Lestol Davis of Cookville, TN, Terrence ( Ivy ) Huggins of Columbus, IN, Quenton Huggins of Texas; Sister, Hattie

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Christian Way Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014 at the funeral home.
