MONTICELLO – Ivon G. Sipes, 96 of Monticello, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. He was born July 24, 1918.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Hayes Sipes of Monticello; two sons, Robert Sipes of Saxie, Texas and Delbert Sipes of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Betty Daniels of Glendale, AR; one step-son, Carl “Butch” Hayes of Monticello; one step-daughter, Joyce Chandler of Greenville, NC; twenty two grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday, December 8 at the Second Baptist Church with burial in Campground Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com
