MISSISSIPPI – Inez Westbrook went to the Lord on June 23, 2015. Graveside services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, Mississippi on Sunday, June 28, 2015. There will be a memorial service at The Palms of Fort Myers in Fort Myers, Florida on July 17, 2015 at 2:30 p.m.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents, Inez and Sam Dribben, her husband, Tom Westbrook, her sister, Lena Hollimon, and her brothers, Barnett and Ferd Dribben. Survivors include her son, Fred (Debbi) Westbrook of Oviedo Florida, her daughter, Peggy (James) White of Cape Coral, Florida, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Inez graduated from Ruleville High School, received her BSE from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, and her Masters degree in Special Education from University of Central Arkansas. She taught in Camden and Egypt, Mississippi, and she taught in the Pine Bluff school system from 1950 – 1981. She retired as supervisor of Special Education.
