Glenn Wayne Davenport, age 69, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, April 28, 2016.
Born September 19, 1946 at Holly Grove, Ark., he was a son of the late Clarence Davenport and Alice Hill Davenport, and served for six years in the Arkansas National Guard.
A resident of Pine Bluff since 1983, he worked for a number of years in maintenance at Riceland Foods.
Mr. Davenport was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, and was baptized in March, 1982.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Ruth Davenport and Mary Ann Seavey.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Manues Davenport, whom he married on May 24, 1968 at Stuttgart; three children, Crystal Capps (Michael) and JoAnne Wilkinson (Shane) all of White Hall, and Bridget Davenport of Sheridan; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Mariah, Jordan, Drake, and Conner; and his siblings, Bobby Davenport (Betty) and Patsy Cooper (Kenneth) all of Stuttgart, John Ed Davenport (Regina) of DeWitt, Danny Davenport of Humphrey, and Frank Davenport (Lynn) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; along with host of nephews and nieces.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016, 10 a.m. at the Church of the First Born with Lamar Sloate and Travis Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
The family will be at their home.
