Faye Armstrong, age 87, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, September 11, 2015. Born September 1, 1928 in Baxter County, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Jess Albert Douglas and Mary Eva Cunningham Brands.
Mrs. Armstrong worked at Jefferson Regional Medical Center for ten years, and had been a member of Pinecrest Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Preceding her in death are her husband, William Andrew Armstrong, Sr. in 1978; two sons, Clarence William Armstrong and William Andrew Armstrong, Jr.; a sister, Venita Calhoun; and a half-brother, Robert Howard Ryder.
Survivors include her children, Lucy Owens, Mitchell Armstrong, Athena Beasley, and Linda Green; a sister, Nellie Chambers; two grandsons, Christopher Lampkin and Michael Olsen; and a caregiver, Toni Gravel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Chapel with Rev. Charles McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
