DUMAS — Claudetta “Ding Dong” Marie Singleton Ricketts, 71 of Dumas, Ark. passed away on June 29, 2012 in Orange Beach, Ala. Claudetta was born on August 17, 1940, Pea Ridge, Ark., she was the daughter of the late, Author and Fewel Z. Rankin Singleton.
She was a member of Watson Assembly of God Church, business owner, secretary and homemaker. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. Claudetta was also a friend to all who knew her.
Survivors are her husband, Leonard Ricketts of Dumas, Ark. and three daughters, Terri (Pat) Wood of Gallatin, Tenn., Debbie (Brad) Pennington of Dumas, Ark. and Rene’ (Wesley) Westerman of Dumas, Ark., two brothers, Ray Singleton of Tyro, Ark. and Gary Singleton of Summertown, Tenn., a sister, Janetta Berry of Dumas, Ark., eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends during visitation from 6-8 p.m., on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 First Assembly of God Church in Dumas, Ark. Funeral Services held at 2:00 p.m. July 5, 2012, First Assembly of God Church, Dumas, Arkansas with Rev. Dean Caldwell and Rev. C.L. Haston officiating with burial in Walnut Lake Cemetery.
