BREATH OF LIFE CHURCH, 1313 Pine St., will host its Sunday youth services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Judge Alex Guynn. Presiding as the judge of the Circuit Court First Division, 11th Judicial District West of Arkansas, Guynn was elected in 2016. Guynn earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law and graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He dedicates his time to nurturing the next generation of leaders across various fields, sharing his expertise and insights to inspire greatness, according to a news release. Guynn resides in the Pine Bluff area with his wife, Lynn Guynn, and their three daughters.

BARRAQUE STREET MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1800 W. Pullen St., will hold its annual Men’s Day program at 11 a.m. Sunday. The theme will be “Passing the Torch: Training the Next Generation of Men” (Jer. 1:17-19.) The guest speaker will be the Rev. Earnest Thomas of St. Mark Baptist Church of Little Rock. Thomas is a native of Baton Rouge, La., where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern University. He is pursuing his Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees at Antioch School of Church Planting and Leadership Development in Ames, Iowa. He and his wife, Roline Thomas, are the founders and directors of Earnest and Roline Ministries, a ministry of biblically based teaching in the form of workshops, seminars, conferences and counseling. The couple has four adult daughters and eight grandchildren.

AMOS CHAPEL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1307 W. 16th Ave., invites the community to the pre-anniversary celebration of the pastor, the Rev. Robert Willis Jr. and wife, Stephanie Willis, at 2 p.m. Sunday. Willis has been pastor for 43 years. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Paul Manning, pastor of Second Baptist Missionary Baptist Church at Wabbaseka, along with his members. Donna Huskey and the WOW Worship Choir will provide musical selections. Other guest pastors include P.C. Holley Sr. and Andrew Williams. The worship leader will be the Rev. S.J. Womack.

KINGS HIGHWAY MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2312 Fluker St., will celebrate its annual Men’s Day Program Sunday, beginning with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. At 10:45 a.m., the speaker will be Lemuel Smith of Kings Highway. At 3 p.m., the guest speaker will be Judge Jackie Harris of New Fellowship Baptist Church. The Southeast Arkansas Male Chorus will sing. The community is invited to attend. The Rev. Anthony J. Howard is the pastor of Kings Highway.

GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 2400 W. 31st Ave., and the pastor, Robert Anderson, invite the community to Tragedy into Triumph, a simulcast, featuring speakers sharing how God changed a life from “Tragedy into Triumph,” May 4-6, according to a news release. Sessions will be held at 7 p.m. on these dates with these speakers: May 4 — Coach Jim Tressel, National Champion coach from Ohio State University, discussing Adversity; May 5 — Wendell Brown, founder of Tragedy into Triumph, discussing Instant Gratification/Addiction; and May 6 — Anne Beiler, founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, discussing Loss and Abuse.

PILGRIM MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 2507 Hill St., will sponsor a community health fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will include free vaccinations and free screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes. “Please come to our community health fair and find out information regarding resources available to you,” a spokesman said. The Rev. Kevin Crumpton is the pastor.

THE ENCOUNTER 2 WOMEN’S CONFERENCE, led by Gail Stith, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Waterfront Building in Regional Park. Outdoor prayer starts at 8:30 a.m. led by Saint Mary Harris. Admission is free. Brunch and lunch will be provided by the Master’s Table. The community is invited to attend, according to StuffinTheBluff.com. The conference will also feature ministers and prayer warriors in a talk show style under the theme “Sisters, Can We Talk About It?”
