The Caring Place of Pine Bluff will host a Medicare information workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 26, at First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Sixth Ave. Attendance is free and open to the community.
Medicare open enrollment dates are Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. The meeting will include a representative from the Senior Health Insurance Information Program who will lead the discussion and answer questions, a spokeswoman said in a news release.
“It is important to note that Medicare encourages their recipients to attend an informational session about Medicare basics, supplement plans and open enrollment in order to make the best choice for the upcoming year,” she said.
