The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will waive day use fees at its more than 2,200 recreational areas in recognition of National Public Lands Day.
On Saturday, Sept. 30, fees will be waived at boat launch ramps and swimming beaches at Corps recreational areas nationwide, according to a news release.
The waiver doesn’t apply to camping and camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities such as group picnic shelters.
