STAR CITY – Betty Ray Young Robinson, 87 of Star City, died Wednesday at her home. She was born April 4, 1928 in Lincoln County to the late Cody Rayford and Lois Veta Tucker Young. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Crigler. She was a nurse for many years and worked for Dr. B.M. Gardner, Dr. Coker and Dr. Richard Petty.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Boyd Robinson.
Survivors include three sons, Richard (Renee) Robinson of North Little Rock, Doug Robinson of Star City and David Robinson of Bryant; three grandchildren, Hallie (Josh) Yates, Ross (Kayla) Robinson and Zachary Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Blakely Robinson and Marley Robinson.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Timothy Rushing officiating.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial at Leek Cemetery.
