Alice Marie Maxwell, 77 of Pine Bluff, died Monday, September 29, 2014. Alice was born August 7, 1937 in Pine Bluff to the late Henry and Sally (Ferguson) Spears. She is also preceded in death by husband R.E. Maxwell, six sisters, and three brothers.
Mrs. Maxwell was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She is survived by children Alicia Maxwell Smith (William), Ray Maxwell, Jr. (Diana), Mona Maxwell Rhoden, Anita Maxwell, and Mary Wilson; siblings Mary Lou Brewer, Pat Martin, Danny Spears, and Fred Puckett; grandchildren Bryan Comeaux, Timothy Maxwell, Corbet Rhoden, Allen Rhoden, Dustin Maxwell, Shay Wilson, and Christina Wilson; and great-grandchildren Gaven, Donavan, Maddison, Ryan, Cloie, and Conner Maxwell.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Meadowview Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11am Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the church, with Randy Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Butler Cemetery in Star City. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
