Mr. Willie D. Shelton, 71, of Pine Bluff passed April 15, 2016 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Shelton was born April 15, 1945 to the late Lonnie Shelton, Sr. and Mary T. Shelton Greenlee in Pine Bluff, Ark.
He confessed hope in Christ at Prairie Lake Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Merrill High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece.
He leaves in loving memory three brothers, Lonnie Shelton, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Ark., Amos (Maxine) Shelton of Little Rock, Ark., Jewel (Sachiyo) Shelton of San Francisco, Calif.; five sisters, Shirley (Robert) Shelton Moore of Springfield, Ill., Francis Shelton Pierson of Pine Bluff, Ark., Geraldine Shelton, Brandon (Wesley) of Milwaukee, Wis., Mary Angel Greenlee Wood of Fayetteville, N.C., Denise Greenlee of North Little Rock, Ark. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and friends whom “Willie D” loved so much.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 pm.m at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Donald L. Agee, pastor. Visitation will be held from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
