A reported armed disturbance in central Pine Bluff Saturday resulted in the arrest of a woman who allegedly threatened her former boyfriend and his fiancee with a knife.
Lowanda Stocker-Reagan, 26, allegedly went to the man’s house in the 1400 block of West 14th Avenue, where she allegedly confronted the man and his fiancee while holding a knife.
Pine Bluff Police Department Detective Keith Banks said in a probable cause affidavit that when Stocker-Reagan was interviewed, she allegedly said she was angry because she was “recently cut off” and said she had the knife because the former boyfriend’s fiancee was “bigger than she is.”
According to the affidavit, the boyfriend took the knife away from Stocker-Reagan and suffered minor injuries in the process.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $10,000 bond for Stocker-Reagan after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with aggravated assault on a family or household member. She was also ordered to have no contact with the former boyfriend until the case is settled.
