James Lee Witt, Democratic candidate for 4th District Congressman, will discuss law enforcement and public safety in an event in Pine Bluff from 4:30–6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Witt will visit the Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign Headquarters, 2802 Olive St., Suite 3B at Jefferson Square Shopping Center.
He will join state Representative-Elect Vivian Flowers (District 17) in a community conversation and listen to the concerns of residents about law enforcement and public safety issues. Other public safety leaders will participate.
Witt is running against Republican state Rep. Bruce Westerman, R-Hot Springs, and Libertarian Party candidate Ken Hamilton.
