MONTICELLO — Willie Bell Block, 84 of Monticello, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
She leaves to mourn one sister, Edna Dorham Allen; three brothers, Rev. James Douglas, Alwestley Adams and Robert Douglas, all of Monticello; two devoted sister-in-laws, Theorthris Douglas of Wilmar and Cammie Block of Milwaukee, Wis.; nine daughters, Rosa Scott of Little Rock, Patricia Buckhanan of Pine Bluff, Virginia Binns, Minnie Rhodes, Lula Harden, Gail Block, Mae Jane Block, and Linda Block, all of Monticello, and Ethel Mills of Dumas; four sons, John Wayne Block of Little Rock, Otis Block of Dumas, Harold Block of Lacey and Rev. Ervin Block of Monticello; 40 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel, burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
