William Glen “Dub” Lawrence, 83, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Born JAnuary 13, 1931 at the Double Wells Community, he was a son of the late Stafford Lawrence and Mae Ginnett Lawrence.
A self-employed carpenter, Mr. Lawrence was graduate of Watson Chapel High School and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives , Marie Elkins Lawrence and Emily Taylor Heird Lawrence; Siblings, Grover Lawrence and Venus Funderburg.
Mr. Lawrence is survives by his son, Glen Lawrence; step-sons, Woody Heird(Marsha), and Murphy Heird (Susie); sister, Jewel Mayer; five grandchildren, Evan Heird(Janel), Matt Heird (Rhoda), Mike Heird (Terra), Mandy Tidwell (steven), and Jeremy Martin; five great-grandchildren, Zoey, Laini, Matti, Hailey, Dylan, and many other loving family and friends.
Graveside services will be Friday, 10:00 a.m. in Lee Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at the Fuller Funeral Chapel. Online condolences: FullerFunerals.com
