MONTICELLO – William “Blue Diamond” David Acrey, 63 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, August 31 at his home. He was born October 28, 1950 in Rome, Georgia.
Survivors include four daughters, Erica Barnard and Meagan Acrey, both of Monticello, Crystal Acrey of Mississippi and Kesha Skurla of Georgia; one son, Christopher Lee Langley of Monticello; the mother of three of his daughters, Erica, Crystal and Meagan, Diana Acrey of Monticello; three brothers, Gary Acrey, Kerry Acrey and Jerry Acrey, all of Georgia; two sisters, Debra Acrey and Barbara Acrey, both of Georgia; nine grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
