Stephanie Dean, administrator at Whispering Knoll Assisted Living Facility, holds several pies that were among the baked goods donated to the facility by a number of people, including Wanda Bateman, Tiny Clummer and the Village at Star City. Activity Director Pam Russell said the facility holds a bake sale three times a year, with the proceeds used to purchase items like bingo cards, pizza parties and other things the residents want.
