Pine Bluff Wastewater Utility will conduct a 2014 Sewer System Rehabilitation project in several locations in Pine Bluff beginning in September.
Insituform Technologies LLC has been selected as a contractor to rehabilitate certain sections of the Pine Bluff sewer system. This project includes rehabilitation of approximately 10,000 feet of existing collection lines with more than a $300,000 investment into the sewer collection system.
The contractor will use the Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) method which will not require excavations. This process will have fewer sewer service interruptions and improve the sewer system reliability for many years, a spokesman said.
