Funeral services for Warren Hardin McCombs, 91, of Pine Bluff, passed February 15, at his home, will be held Friday 11:00 a.m., Seven Day Adventist Church, 5603 Holsey, Pastor Cunninghem.
He was born October 18, 1923 in Mt. Carmel, S.C., to William Franklin McCombs Sr. and Carrie Bell(Banks) McCombs.
He served two years in the Merchant Marines. He resided in Connecticut, became a painter in New York and contracted for a number of years. He moved to Chicago as a general Sub Contractor.
He married Bobbie Jean(Smith) McCombs in July of 1965, they stayed together until 1977, they had one child.
Survivors: Wife, Irma Jean(Brown) McCombs; son, Warren Kenyatta McCombs(Pamela); stepsons, Alexander D. James, Marian L. James; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery services by Perry Funeral Home.
