GRADY — Vernon McPherson, 86, of Grady, Ark., died August 3, 2013, he was born February, 9, 1927 in Conway, Ark. Mr. McPherson was a member of the Linwood Baptist Church and a Master Welder.
Survivors are his wife, Irene McPherson, Grady, two sons, Norman McPherson, Grady, and Bryan McPherson, Pine Bluff; three sisters, Hazel Kinder, Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jonilee Dinsmore, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Freeda Cresswell, Pine Bluff, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral held graveside at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, Memorial Park Cemetery with burial following.
Memorials: Shrines Children Hospital or Donor’s choice of Charity. Arrangements are by Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Arkansas.
