DUMAS — Vernice Henthorne, 70, of Dumas, Ark., passed away April 7, 2012, in Little Rock. She was born April 1, 1942, in Bluffton, Ark. Vernice was a member of Garrett Bridge Assembly of God Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include husband, Ervin Henthorne; daughters, Angela Stain and Peggy Johnson, all of Dumas and Pam Potarf, Odessa, Texas; brother, Willie McTigrit, Dumas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, Garrett Bridge Assembly of God Church, with burial following in Tyro Cemetery with Rev. Paul Pickens and Rev. Fay Collins officiating. Arrangements: Griffin Funeral Home, Dumas, Ark.
