The Upward Bound Program at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is accepting applications for the 2016-2017 year.
Several slots are available for eligible students in the ninth and 10th grades at Dollarway, Pine Bluff and Watson Chapel school districts. Under the current program guidelines, the mission is to serve low income and/or first generation potential college going students, a spokesman said in a news release.
The deadline to apply is March 31. Applications are available from the high school counselor’s office or the Upward Bound office in Corbin Hall Room 223 at UAPB. Details:Office of Upward Bound, 870-575-8517.
