Interim Pine Bluff Police Chief Ivan Whitfield will be sworn in at a noon ceremony Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
Whitfield began his career with the police department in 1983 in the patrol division. He has served in various divisions including vice and narcotic, detective and service. In 2011, he was promoted to assistant chief.
