Phi Alpha Theta, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s History Society, will have its first lecture series entitled “Educating the Masses” at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 in the student union lounge at UAPB.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Robert J. Smith, a former surgeon in Pine Bluff, who he worked several years.He is currently director of surgery at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis. The event is open to the public.
