The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Art Department will host High School Portfolio Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, in Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts building. The event is free and open to the public.
All interested students should bring 10-20 traditional, visual art or design works, which may be executed in any medium, in black-and-white or color, and may include, but are not limited to: drawing; painting; graphic design; color and design; printmaking; collage; photography; sculpture; jewelry; fashion; furniture; or fiber art.
Students should bring their sketchbook or visual verbal journal filled with creative ideas, art class assignments, working from direct observation, experimenting with media and techniques for UAPB art faculty to review.
