How To Become A Notary will be the topic at a free public workshop from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at the Monticello Branch Library.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Monticello will sponsor the event, according to a news release.
The workshop will include information on new laws affecting notaries. A representative from the Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office will discuss the notary application process and best practices and issues facing notaries.
All current and prospective notaries public are invited to attend.
