An eight-week nursing assistant class will be offered at the University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-McGehee. Sessions begin Tuesday, March 7.
The course is offered by the Career Pathways Initiative of the school. Participants must be eligible for financial aid, have a child under the age of 21, an income between 131 and 250 percent of the poverty level, or be receiving government benefits from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA) or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
