UAM launches new online scholarship application

MONTICELLO — A new online scholarship application at the University of Arkansas at Monticello was scheduled to launch Aug. 1. The application is available at https://uamont.academicworks.com/

Students should complete a general application through Academic Works, which matches participants to institutional and private scholarships they qualify for based on documentation provided to the university, according to Tyler Harrison, UAM scholarship coordinator.

For institutional scholarship consideration, the prospective first-time or two-year college transfer student must submit an admissions application, scholarship application through Academic Works, test scores, official high school and/or college transcript(s) and proof of immunization to meet eligibility requirements.

Some private scholarships will have a separate application that must be completed after completing the general application.

All documentation and applications must be submitted by March 1, 2019. Details: Tyler Harrison at harrisonjt@uamont.edu or finaid@uamont.edu, visit the UAM Financial Aid office at Harris Hall 300 or call 870-460-1050.
