Trump hasn’t had enough time to become Hitler

Editor, The Commercial:

Regarding “Trump is not Hitler” on the editorial page March 4, 2017, in The Commercial:

Trump is more than a lot of things, including Hitler. We all know who and what he is because we have see him run roughshod over all people who get in his way. He brags incessantly about his escapades, what he will and won’t do, etc. Admittedly, nothing has stuck to the point where only a few oppose him and his rhetoric.

He is not our legitimately elected president. Our intelligence officials have been unable to prove what the Russians did to help Trump after he bragged about his close connections to the Russians and his administration from Putin.

Trump’s nominees are now “falling on swords”/resigning. Why should “the American people” respect the presidential office if Trump doesn’t? Why should we ignore social media and “non-fake news” if Trump won’t get off Twitter?

Trump is not quite Hitler because he hasn’t had enough time. Recall Hitler’s rise took a few years. Trump has “accomplished” more in less time. He has convinced you and his followers that he can do to this country and people what Hitler did to Germany and Europe.

America was great. Now it’s an embarrassment. Trump and you envision a pure, white America. It may happen. I hope it won’t. Don’t castigate for not being swayed by Trump and you. We will never “give him a chance.” One presidential sounding speech is insufficient. Not only is Trump Hitler reincarnated. He might just be the anti-Christ also.
