TOPPS announces fall programs; sets parents’ meeting

TOPPS will begin all fall programs Tuesday, Sept. 5, and a mandatory meeting will be held for parents of students interested in the after-school and mentoring sessions.

The meeting will be held from 4-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27. Information will be shared about requirements, expectations, trips, volunteer opportunities and how to help students be successful in school.

TOPPS (Targeting Our People’s Priorities with Service) Inc. has programs for students in first through 12th grades.

The programs include after-school tutoring, mentoring, graphic design-job training, volunteerism, the feeding program and DREAMS (Dreams Require Educating and Motivating Students.) DREAMS, a pre-college program, has limited slots, according to a news release.
