Pine Bluff Police arrested Sylvester Brown on Monday following several tips from the community, according to a police Facebook post.
The detectives office asked for assistance locating 48-year-old Brown, who was wanted for first degree domestic battery and other felony offenses.
Brown was located a little after 2 p.m. Monday.
“We have received a lot of tips about the possible location of Mr. Brown over the last several days. We received more tips about him than usual. Mr. Brown was located and arrested off of one of these citizen tips. We would like to thank the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in apprehending Mr. Brown and a big thanks to the public for their continuous support,” according to the Facebook post.
