Funeral services for Sylvester Randall Jr., 58, of Pine Bluff passed February 03, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. Perry Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Demetrice Swift officiating.
He was born October 23, 1956 to the late Sylvester Randall and Ophelia Nelson. He was raised by his step mother the late Willie Mae Randall of Pine Bluff, Ark.
Sylvester was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School Class of 1975. He was employed by Tyson Foods Inc in 2006 until December 3, 2014 when his health began to fail.
He confessed his faith in Christ at a young age at the St. Hurricane MBC in Pine Bluff under the leadership of the late Rev. Albert King. “Pipe” as his family and friends called him, knew how to keep you laughing and loved watching football and basketball. He loved to talk about Tyson Foods Family and how good of people he worked with for he was a character to all that knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his caregiver and cousin, Bishop Shirley A. Sanders and other family members, best friends, Lydell Crutchfield, James Morrow and Dennis Smith who all loved him dearly.
Visitations may be made Friday 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Services by Perry Funeral Home.
