Pine Bluff Police have identified a suspect in an early Tuesday drive-by shooting at 1202 S. Cherry St.
Alonzo Harris, 20, is wanted in connection to the shooting, according to the detective’s office. He is described as a Black male, 5-feet-8 and 146 pounds.
Officers discovered upon arrival a residence had been struck by multiple gunshots while two adults and an infant were inside, according to police. No injuries were reported.
Witnesses told police they saw a gray passenger car missing the rear bumper panels on both sides but had one black passenger door. The car reportedly was driving around the block several times prior to the incident.
Police say four males including Harris occupied the vehicle. The suspects parked behind a nearby business, according to witness accounts and a preliminary investigation.
“One male remained in the vehicle while the other three approached the apartment on foot,” according to a news release. “All three males were armed with rifles and fired multiple rounds at the residence before fleeing the area.”
Detectives are asking the public for assistance in identifying the other three suspects, who are said to be armed and dangerous. The Pine Bluff Police Detective Division can be reached at (870) 730-2090 or (870) 541-5300. The tip line, where one can remain anonymous, is (870) 730-2106.
