A suspect in a shooting Thursday turned himself in to Pine Bluff police detectives Friday and could be charged with attempted murder, according to Detective Capt. Greg Shapiro.
Police had been looking for Leroy White III, a suspect in the shooting of Spencer Walker, who remains hospitalized with life threatening injuries following the incident in the 2500 block of West 34th Avenue and Old Warren Road.
White, 26, surrendered to police Friday and was taken to the county detention center, where he is being held on a $250,000 bond. He faces charges of criminal attempt capital murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm, Shapiro said.
Walker, 23, of Pine Bluff was injured in the shooting about 2:18 p.m. Thursday and was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he underwent surgery, Shapiro said.
