The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying persons of interest in theft and attempt to use a stolen credit card.
On April 18, a deputy from the sheriff’s office’s Uniformed Patrol Division was dispatched to a residence regarding the breaking and entering of a vehicle, theft of property and the attempt to use a credit card stolen from the vehicle.
Criminal investigators learned that a transaction was made in Benton on the victim’s bank account. Investigators obtained video of the incident showing a white Chevrolet Malibu, unknown license plate, occupied by a female driver and male passenger. The vehicle has damage to the passenger side, including the passenger side mirror which appears to have been taped on.
The Criminal Investigation Division is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the persons of interest and/or information regarding the owner/location of the vehicle used.
