The Senior Kappas of Pine Bluff Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. are observing Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in Jefferson County.
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and Prostate Health Month, according to a news release.
The Senior Kappas joined government agencies, organizations and communities across Jefferson County to recognize the importance of prostate health and awareness for men.
“Prostate cancer remains the most common type of cancer in men and it kills 33,000 men each year,” according to the release.
