The Pine Bluff High School Class of 1960 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Wright’s Ranch House Restaurant, 6224 Dollarway Road. All classmates and members from other classes are encouraged to attend.
During the August meeting, Arlie Langrell opened the gathering by blessing the food and fellowship. Classmates and spouses attending were Jerry and Ruby Wessels Poteet, Arlie and Barbara Rogers Langrell, Bill and Norma Ridgway Ray, Marie Brown Jones, Dee Wallace Bradley and Robert and Lenora Porter.
Norma Ray read a thank you note from Tommy Fletcher’s widow, Jill, in which she stated: “I would love to have kept him for many more years.”
Norma Ray said she was blessed to have Bill and hoped to have him many more years. She then asked everyone to sing Happy Birthday to him.
