Schrilda Leonard


GRAPEVINE – Schrilda Kaye Liscomb Leonard of Grapevine, Ark. was born July 16, 1939 in Gleason, Tenn., the daughter of the late Oscar Monroe and Lottie Jane Doran Liscomb.

She was a member of Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church in Grapevine where she served her Lord faithfully. She loved her Lord, her church family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. They would tell you that she was an awesome cook who could make the best sweet tea, roast, cornbread and dumplings around.

She was a Quality Assurance Coordinator for Camden Wire for many years.

Kaye died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 76.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Leonard, Jr.

Survivors: sons, Dr. Thomas Ron Smith, Jr. and wife, Dana of McComb, Miss., Robert Liscomb Smith and wife, Stephanie of Sheridan, Robin Granger Leonard and wife Stacy, of Bentonville; daughters, Rhonda Kaye Spillyards of Little Rock, Roxanne Smith Hedden and husband, Jeff of Grapevine, Doreen Dean and husband, Danny of Pine Bluff; sisters, Peggy Sue Adams and husband, Robert of Paris, Tenn., Patricia Washam of Gleason, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren with the 5th one on the way and a host of nieces, nephews church family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church in Grapevine with Rev. Jimbo Manning and Dr. Ron Smith officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
